How to measure replacement solar collectors / absorbers
4 measurements are needed
- 1. Overall absorber length
- 2. Header Pipe length
- 3. Fin width
- 4. Inlet Header Pipe size
Outside diameter(OD) is usually 3/4, 1, or 1-1/2 inches.
Important Note:
Measurements must be exact.
Custom fabricated plates cannot be returned. Double check all measurements!
If you are using the old absorber to take measurements, and if the absorber has been cut out of the existing solar collector frame, be sure to send us the original header length size BEFORE it was cut out.
