RHM80P4 Rheem Water Storage Tank

80 Gallon, 4 ports on top of tank, 2 standard and 2 for solar heated water loop

This Rheem 80 gallon water heater is specially designed to be compatible with secondary heating systems such as solar. Rigid, polyurethane foam insulation keep heat in the tank. Meets or exceeds the most demanding energy efficiency standards without an extra insulation blanket. Electric element assists the system only when the solar energy cannot maintain the desired temperature or during periods of peak demand. Automatic temperature control thermostat keeps stored water at desired temperature. Solar storage tanks have 4 ports on the top of the tank, two for the solar and two for the conventional hot water side of the system. This unit does not have an internal heat exchanger. You can use the 21st. Century heat exchangers with this unit for a external heat-exchanger application.
