Maid-O-Mist®/Jacobus® Steam Vents
A vent port size for every room
- No.4 - For radiators in room in which thermostat is located; or where radiators affect operation of thermostat. Available for:
- No.5 - Venting capacity equal to 4 ordinary air valves. Use on radiators near boiler and in warm rooms (second-floor radiators, for example). Available for:
- No.6 - Venting capacity equal to 8 ordinary air valves. Use on radiators farther from boiler and in cold rooms. Available for:
- No."C" - Venting capacity equal to 15 ordinary air valves. Use on radiators farthest from boiler and in coldest rooms (for example, on third-floor radiators and above). Available for:
- No."D" - Venting capacity equal to 27 ordinary air valves. Use when large amount of air must be vented such as on radiators with particularly long branches and on very large radiators. Available for:
- No.1 - Designed to vent the air from the main lines, as well as on longer runs (depending on the size of the building). Has 1/2inch by 3/4inch combination vertical connection. Use one or more at the end of the short main, or the main running to the warm side of the building. Also use two or three at the end of the long main, or the main running to the cold side of the building. Available for: Straight (fits 1/2inch 3/4inch pipe)
