The ETAPUMP is engineered for the lift and daily volume that you require. It has only one moving part, no failure-prone diaphragms or brushes to replace. ALL electronic control parts are above ground for easy access and greatest reliability.

Most ETApump systems are powered PV direct (directly from solar panels while the sun is shining). This pump can be powered by a battery bank, which makes the most sense when the pump is used to provide water, for example, to the household pressure tank. The ETA systems are available for operation from a 24 volt or 48 volt battery bank or other DC source.

If there is a battery bank that is close enough to the well to avoid very large wire then the ETA system can be powered by the existing battery bank. A load analysis should be done before adding the ETA system to the battery bank power system to make sure that the batteries, solar array or other generating source can produce enough power. In most home pressurizing systems the pump only operates for an hour or less per day so the ETA system is a very small addition to household loads.

Please keep in mind that the pump sees pressure as additional lift in a ration of 2 to 1 (roughly). In other words, 50 psi is seen by the pump as 100 feet of lift. This 100 feet of lift must be added to the total vertical lift for the system in order to choose the correct ETA system.
