RC Full Tank Shutoff, with adjustable weight

The Float Switch Kit is used to turn the pump off when the tank is full. The Float Switch Kit is used in the control circuit of a pump controller. The Conergy Linear Current Boosters use a reverse acting control circuit, so that when the circuit is open (off), the pump runs. Some other controllers work the normal (opposite) way. The latest Conergy ETAPUMP controllers can operate either way. The Float Switch in the Floatswitch Kit will close when the tank is full --the same logic as a "Pump Down" float switch.

This kit can be used with a Conergy Linear Current Booster to turn the pump off when the tank becomes full, or to shut off the pump when the tank is empty, or for either use with the ETAPUMP.

The float switch includes 15 feet of cable, and has a floating bulb with the switch inside it. The adjustable weight is used to fix the pivot point. The length of cable from the pivot point to the bulb determines the height between OFF and ON.

If you are using a controller and need a kit that works the "normal" way, use a 10amp rated "Pump Up" float switch and adjustable weight (sold separately).

If you want to switch a pump directly, without using a controller, use the "Pump Up" or "Pump Down" float switch with the appropriate current rating.

This kit can be used with any solar direct surface or submersible pump.
